CityReach Network of Churches exist to reach the one who is farthest from God with the gospel of Jesus Christ. In particular, CityReach Irvine has a vision of becoming a restraining force against evil in the community. Several people are suffering from addictions, and diverse mental health situations. We believe that only the gospel of Jesus Christ has a transforming power to enable all people (young and old) to lead healthy and crime-free lives.
As part of holistic multicultural, intergenerational ministry, CityReach Irvine has a correctional ministry dedicated to incarcerated youth in Orange County, in partnership with the OC Probation Department. Incarcerated youth are the neglected flock of ministry in America and according to recent statistics, only one percent of churches in America have ministry dedicated to incarcerated youth.
On Sunday September 17, 2017, CityReach Irvine will be officially launching its activities and needs the services of dedicated interns and part-time ministry leaders. Part-time ministry leaders receive a monthly stipend commensurate with experience and will primarily serve in either the worship or children’s ministries.
